The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree (or, in this case, the soybean plant) in Vaalharts, Northern Cape. Pannar representative for the area, Charlie de Beer, shared this precious photo of little Stiaan Maree standing proudly in his granddad’s soybean field. Stiaan’s grandfather, Frikkie Maree, planted the PAN 1588R soybean this season and can be almost just as proud of his crop as he is of his grandson.
The PAN 1588R soybean cultivar is an excellent choice for all soybean production areas. It is a medium maturity cultivar that fits in well with PAN 1521R and PAN 1555R. This indeterminate cultivar with a high yield potential demonstrates good stability at different yield potential levels, production areas and over different seasons. PAN 1588R can be planted with peace of mind and performs well in dry, hot years.
