Belinda van Rensburg shares her success story of PAN 4P-928PW at Greenway Farm in De Jagersdrift

PAN 4P-928PW at Greenway Farm in De Jagersdrift near Dundee looks impressive as it reaches physiological maturity. Belinda van Rensburg is very pleased with its solid performance. This is the second season she is planting this early yellow hybrid with PowerCore® trait technology with the guidance of her husband Willem van Rensburg, Pannar’s sales representative for Vryheid KwaZulu-Natal. Belinda’s plant population under irrigation is 78,000, and under dryland, it is 38,000 plants per hectare. The row width is 76 cm.

Willem says: “It is important for each farmer to plant trials on his own lands, as different soils and management practices require different hybrids. It is also important to adhere to the management recommendations for the different hybrids in order to make the right choices and harvest the most profitable yields for the inputs made.”

Willem says that PAN 3P-924PW, with its excellent high yield potential, and the new PAN 3P-912PW, with its strong tolerance to Northern Corn Leaf Blight (NCLB), are also looking great at Greenway farm. PAN 4R-838BR was planted under dryland on old Eragrostis lands at low plant population and is truly a winner with its strong seedling emergence and good disease tolerance. It also showed good prolificacy at a low plant population, contributing to the good yield potential.

Be sure to speak to one of Pannar's experts about how to get the most benefit from PAN 4P-928PW.
