Pieter Colloty is impressed with PAN 4R-511R's stable yield performance, good grain quality and general disease tolerance

Pieter farms in the Vryheid area and planted the PAN 4R-511R on 3 November 2023 at 47,000 plants per hectare in 0.91 m rows. PAN 4R-511R is an early white maize hybrid and its stablemates in this platform are PAN 4A-111 and PAN 4R-811BR. These hybrids are stalwarts in the eastern production areas.

Pieter also planted PAN 5R-563R and PAN 5P-985PW with great success

Both fit into the medium early growth class. PAN 5R-563R complements PAN 4R-511R very well and has the advantage of being more prolific at lower plant populations. It has very good agronomic properties.

PAN 5P-985PW features PowerCore™ trait technology that provides excellent control against Maize Stalk Borer and the Spotted Maize Stem Borer, combined with glyphosate tolerance.
