Pannar yellow maize shows the golden hues of harvest

Hannelie Tait, Pannar’s representative of Hoopstad, proudly shares these photos of the once-green fields of Zeelie Broers Boerdery, now filled with golden PAN 3P-912PW hybrids. Farmer Junior from the Christiana area planted these yellow maize hybrids at a plant population of 80,000 plants per hectare with a row width of 0.76.

The PAN 3P-912PW hybrid has demonstrated excellent yield potential in advancement trials. It also shows strong tolerance to Northern Corn Leaf Blight, which aids performance in high NCLB pressure environments. What’s more, the PowerCore™ technology of this hybrid provides broad-spectrum protection against above-ground lepidopteran pests, stacked with glyphosate herbicide-tolerant technology for premium insect and weed control.
