Bountiful PAN 3P-973PW harvest ahead in Balfour

As South Africa winds down for the holiday season, Farmer Dawie Brits is just getting started with these thriving PAN 3P-973PW white maize plants in the Balfour area. Planted at Modderbult Boerdery with the expert guidance of Pannar representative Francois Hamman, these crops are already growing strong and showing early signs of a promising season ahead. 

This is a typical ultra early plant-type with upright leaves and good standability. It is well suited to both irrigation and high potential dryland, and under lower plant populations these hybrids tend to be mildly prolific. The plants produce a high grain-to-stover ratio. They are well adapted to high plant populations and have good overall disease tolerance and grain quality.
